1. Data Controller Identity
The Small Team Builder is operated by Five Thirty Limited (company number 12309500), trading as The Small Team Builder. The privacy controller can be contacted at contact@kayleyhart.co.uk. For correspondence, privacy requests, corrections, complaints and accessibility reports, email contact@kayleyhart.co.uk. Five Thirty Limited's service address is available on request through this monitored contact channel.
2. Privacy by Design in Tools and Calculators
Our interactive tools and calculators are engineered for maximum privacy. All data processing occurs entirely within your local browser environment. Draft answers are saved exclusively to your device's `localStorage`, allowing you to resume work later. This data is never transmitted to our servers, is completely invisible to us, and no personal identifier (such as an email address) is required to generate a result.
Consequently, clearing your browser cache, utilising private/incognito browsing modes, or activating a 'start again' control will permanently erase your draft. Because we never possess this data, we are technically incapable of retrieving, restoring, or deleting it on your behalf.
4. Affiliate Link Tracking Mechanisms
When you navigate to a partner site (e.g., Tide or Capital on Tap) via a tracked affiliate link, the partner's proprietary tracking mechanism (typically a cookie or URL parameter) records the referral source. This is necessary to correctly attribute any resulting commission. This tracking infrastructure is operated entirely by the partner, not by us, and is governed exclusively by the partner's own privacy notice, which we strongly advise you to review before submitting an application.
We do not receive, process, or store your personal application details as part of this tracking process. We are provided only with anonymised, aggregate data regarding link performance and successful referrals.
5. Data Minimisation
We actively practice data minimisation. No analytics provider is currently active on this site. No processor is currently active for this purpose. We do not deploy invasive advertising trackers or sell visitor-profiling data. If analytics or other tracking is introduced, this policy will be updated before activation to name the provider, purpose, lawful basis, retention period and any applicable international-transfer safeguard.
6. Your Statutory Rights (UK GDPR)
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), you possess the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, request rectification of inaccuracies, request erasure ('right to be forgotten'), object to specific processing activities, and request data portability. Given our privacy-by-design architecture, the vast majority of such requests will pertain solely to the newsletter subscriber list.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@kayleyhart.co.uk. We aim to acknowledge privacy requests within 5 business days and provide a substantive response within 20 business days, subject to any applicable statutory time limit. If you remain dissatisfied with our handling of your request, you have the right to lodge a formal complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, the UK's independent data protection regulator.
